Frozen Moments Lost In Time.

Shepard Fairey

\"I make a very public body of art using stickers, posters, and stencils. I put these works on the street in order to send some static interference out into the world\'s sea of images and messages. The images I use include historical propaganda, black power, parodies of authority, and tweaks of popular culture icons.\" — Shepard Fairey

Ha! What a load of crap. Fairey is a fraud. What he does is steal other artists work (even photographers, as PROVEN in the Obama-image lawsuit) and claim it as his own, making millions in the process. That\'s not to say the collages aren\'t pleasing to the eye; they are. (But that\'s because it\'s another artists work!) It\'s to say that he\'s not an artist, he\'s a plagiarist.

Fairey\'s 13x25 foot indoor piece was hard to photograph because there wasn\'t enough light and the flash bounced off the glue (probably wheat paste) used to finish the surface.
